INDEPENDENT LIVING

Learn more about where we come from.

While students are at Dynamy they develop, or improve, independent living skills with the support of advisors and residential coordinators, who have their own apartments on the property. Residential coordinators help students strengthen independent living skills like budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. Residential coordinators also run weekly house meetings and organize regular residential life activities to help students balance work and responsibility with fun and socialization. These events may include on-site activities such as ping pong tournaments and movie nights and may also include off-site activities such as hikes and games of paintball.

MONDAY PROGRAMMING

Monday Programming is designed to support student learning through a variety of multi-modal sessions to relay pertinent life skill learning objectives. Once a week, students get together as a full group to participate in interactive workshops and discussions. Meanwhile, this presents a great opportunity for Dynamy staff to connect with students and see whole community interactions.  It is the main vehicle for strengthening and improving the culture of the community as a whole, and one of the core pieces of the Dynamy model.
